THE TOWER OF BABEL
The Tower Of Babel is a social multimedia project about the isolation caused by being a foreigner and not knowing the official language of a country. It is a deepening in the lives of the six foreigners who took part in it, who express their personal experiences with the language barrier.
This project is a direct consequence of a personal feeling which aims to reproduce the feeling of confusion caused by the language barriers, but also to create a greater connection between people through understanding.
Through the interviews, held in the native language, negative and positive experiences emerge, suggesting similarities in the various stories creating a further connection that can help to understand a common feeling. The end result is not only a criticism of the social barriers imposed by the language, but also a hymn to the beauty of a multilingual world.
